Easy Summer Drink!

A little twist on the Arizona Iced Tea.

California sunshine is a real badass, I just want to drink cold beverage every afternoon, this is my go-to recipe.

I'm using Arizona Iced Tea flavor concentrate in the recipe, but you can easily substitute it with ordinary Arizona from a can (omit water), of course iced tea flavor. What else do you expect? No excuses.

What you'll be needing:
  • Arizona concentrate (Iced tea flavor)
  • Drinking water
  • Juice from 1/2 Lime
  • 10 FRESH mint leaves, preferably from your own garden
  • Ice cubes
  • Decent Mug of your choice
  • muddle muddle muddle...
  • Muddler, or Spoon if you don't have one

Steps, they aren't really steps:
  1. Place mint leaves into the mug, muddle them with muddler/back of a spoon, releasing mint oil.
  2. Fill half of the mug with ice cubes.
  3. Fill up the mug with drinking water.                     (filtered water is preferred)
  4. Drop 2-3 squeezes amount of Arizona Iced Tea concentrate into the mixture.
  5. Add in the magic lime juice that literally makes everything better.
  6. Stir to combine.
ICEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AHHH

*Skip steps 3 and 4 if you're using canned Arizona.

You're done, ENJOY!

I'm in USA!

I'm really sorry...

for not updating to be gone for half a year, well at least no one cares!

Where I've been? The fact is I haven't really been to anywhere, BUT...but I did moved from Hong Kong to California during the time that I didn't write anything here.

OKAY long story short, I was studying for exams and preparing for graduation, then onto preparation for studying abroad (i.e. I-20, Visa, passport) all those kind of stuff, I went on a graduation trip with my buddies to Taiwan for a week, after all that jazz I flew all the way from Hong Kong to USA a month ago!

Despite the long and frustrating flight, about...16 hours.

Everything is fine here, I've got my subjects selected in college, I've got my driving permit and scheduled my behind-the-wheel test, yes beware...I can drive. muahahaha.

Since I moved here, I'm not allowed to eat snacks although I hide them in my room, or else my aunt will bitch slap me because she's sort of laboratory scientist who examine bacterias in food and such, she said snacks are not healthy. I knew it ma'am, you don't say.

NO SNACKS, NO LATE-NIGHT MEAL (i.e. an important part of human evolution)

I MUST admit that those are badass that chase up our butts when we are trying to get on a healthy life style, but I'm just really not used to only having 3 meals a day, seriously. I eat 6 meals, little at a time, a day in Hong Kong.

Including:

  • 7:30 am, Breakfast
  • 9:40 am, Brunch
  • 11:50 am, Lunch
  • 4:30 pm, Tea time
  • 7:30 pm, Dinner
  • 11:30 pm, Late-night meal
Well, once again, it's not so healthy right? *face palm*

If any of you are interested in seeing my house over here, I've linked the video down here for you.

That's about it, I just want to keep you guys updated after half a year and get myself back on track for all those social website like Youtube, Facebook. So check them out.

Other than that, I shall talk to you guys soon, SOON.

Dancing for Memories

Yes, I've gone missing lately

Why? I've been dragging myself to write more blogposts, but for the past few weeks I was studying and at the same time preparing for our last day in school, which was filming the video for showing in morning assembly on our last day, pranking teachers for hidden camera videos and so on. Those take up my time other than study, but finally I'm free at this moment to write.

This is just a video clip of me and my friend Jenny dancing to "Where have you been" sang by Rihanna, which is going to be in the last day video, not to praise myself but I've only practiced the dance for a few hours with my friend, she learnt it in her dance class then taught me how, I think I did a pretty good job (I'm on the left), what do you guys think?

Well well well...I think I know what you are thinking in your head: oh dear snackslover, where are you "healthy" blogposts? Stop talking about your life.

The message behind this blogpost is that dancing is also a great workout/exercise, just in case if you don't want to go to gym and sweat like a dog, dancing looks much cooler for me and it's so entertaining. Maybe not, but I like dancing more than actually exercising, and you also get muscles from warming up before dancing, I've been to dance class once where they took time to warm up more than actually dancing, their warm up routine was hardcore to the point where my body just literally went screaming the day after the class.

I'm not good at dancing at all, but still, it's fun and good for you at the same time.

Cheers! I shall talk to you soon, Byeee!

more about Snackslover :)

Rocking my typical life

I act like a freak on pretty much everything when taking selfies, when I'm with my lovely animals and of course with my DARN AWESOME friends, this is just my normal life.
throwback when we were at the beach in March 2013

Even in school, I would never act normal for some reason and I don't know why, I wondered if any of you are like this.
or would I?
umm NOPE, this is me.

Apparently, my life isn't that interesting and would be less exciting then life that people are having out there, but I just want to let us get closer before we get on my healthy life journey together! Not because I wanna be famous or anything, I want YOU to get involved and see how normal my life is, instead of strict weight watcher.

I hope you won't mind if I shoot you some blogpost about my life once in a while, and sorry if you are expecting healthy post every time, tehee. *wink wink*

I'm just like anyone of you. I'm not health expert, but just sharing what I know and what works for me :)
desk area on 7th floor in my school
Other than my amazing friends, I also have three little friends wandering around me everyday, they are my cats/furballs Persian BearBear and alley BiBi, and Pekingese BudBud. Yep all start with a B, hahaa.

two furballs around me everyday <3
I showed you a picture of a corner in my school and my cats, grey one is Bear Bear and white one is BiBi that my brother picked up somewhere around his school few years ago, my BearBear is very independent while BiBi is so clingy, to the point where she is a girl always stick around and sit on my lap whenever she has the chance to do so.

So yeah this is more about me if you wondered why I start this blog, if you still don't know the reason is to let you know healthy is not only for people who limits themselves to certain meal plan and everyday workout just to be healthy. Why? Because me myself, don't have much dedication to give up what I used to grown up with, you know? like chips and soft drinks, those kind of stuff.

You can be lazy like me while still working out and eating healthy food, and maybe cheat once in a while *sipping a can of pepsi*

That's it for today! I'm off, have a great day and Byeee!

Secret of snack-holic's "healthy" lifestyle...?

Tempting food & drinks EVERYWHERE...

Do you ALWAYS want to eat the whole world but fear that will put more weights on you? YES, I do.

My real name is Tangkijnagmwong Sinee, it sounds Thai? You're right! The truth is I was born and raised in Hong Kong, so...despite the fact that I'm Thai, I considered myself as a typical Hong Kong girl.

My IGCSE prom on 15 June 2012,
I don't have my long ombré hair anymore :)

I'm the type of person who will just eat everything in front of me, literally anything edible, especially junk food like McDonald and KFC

Here comes the genuine first world problem that can be related to me: Delicious food, why you no healthy.

Although I'm still clinging to my junk food, yes I still eat them, yet I try to minimize the amount I put into my belly and balance out the "toxins" with some easy healthy tricks on a daily basis! I would like to invite you to join my adventure from here, let's treat ourselves a little bit better, shall we?

This is my first blog post so I'm keeping it rather simple by listing things that I will be blahing about and what I want to accomplished on this blog.

  • Show you my addiction on food, perhaps you're interested to see my meals.
  • Provide you food & drink recipes that I've changed a little here and there, along with awful photos taken by me. Why? To make it healthier.
  • Healthy Tips such as FYIs, detox, easy workouts (even I could do it, idiots proof!)
  • Reviews on "healthy snacks" that I randomly picked up at the store.
  • My try on miscellaneous workout challenges I found online *whispered pinterest*

Thank you so much for reading this introduction, and welcome on board to Sinee's adventure
Byeee! *hugs*
